Document Layout :
- Your document should be designed at 300 DPI (dots per inch). One dot is the same as a pixel. So, at 300 DPI a 1” x 1” logo should be designed as 300 x 300 pixels.
- Cut document dimensions (the size of the actual document you will receive) are as follows:
o Business Cards: 3.43” x 1.93” (87mm x 49mm)
o Standard Postcards: 5.47” x 4.21” (139mm x 107mm)
o Oversized Postcards: 8.504” X 5.472” (216 mm X 139 mm)
o Letterhead: 8.5” x 11” (216mm x 279mm)
o Brochures: 8.5” x 11” (216mm x 279mm)
o Presentation Folders: 9.625” x 12.0625” (244mm x 306mm)
o Labels: 2.66” x 0.83” (67.7mm x 21mm)
- To accommodate for full bleeds, you should design your document to extend through our bleed area. The bleed area extends beyond the actual physical size of your document so that when we cut your document the color will extend all the way to the edge and not leave a small white border. So, to allow for the bleed area, your full document dimensions with the bleed area are:
o Business Cards: 3.54” x 2.04” (90mm x 52mm)
o Standard Postcards: 5.59” x 4.33” (142mm x 110mm)
o Oversized Postcards: 8.614” X 5.582” (219 mm X 142 mm)
o Letterhead: 8.62” x 11.10” (219mm x 282mm)
o Brochures: 8.62” x 11.10” (219mm x 282mm)
o Labels: 2.78” x 0.95” (70.7mm x 24mm)
- Remember, your bleed area will be cut off, so do not include any text or important design elements in your bleed area.
- Document Colors:
- It is recommended that documents be created in 2 color.
- All colors need to be created and saved in CMYK process format.
- Colors may vary slightly from those that are viewed on your computer screen.
